Which Social media Platforms have implemented E2EE

1. WhatsApp: WhatsApp, owned by Facebook, implemented end-to-end encryption for all messages, calls, photos, and videos shared on its platform. This means that only the sender and recipient(s) can access the content of their conversations, and WhatsApp itself cannot read or access the messages.

2. Signal: Signal is a privacy-focused messaging app that has long championed end-to-end encryption as a core feature. All messages, calls, and other data transmitted through Signal are encrypted end-to-end, ensuring user privacy and security.

3. Telegram: Telegram offers end-to-end encryption for its "Secret Chats" feature, which allows users to have private conversations with added security. However, regular chats on Telegram are not end-to-end encrypted by default.

4. Facebook Messenger: In late 2021, Facebook announced plans to introduce end-to-end encryption for Messenger's private messages. This feature, called "Secret Conversations," provides users with enhanced privacy and security for their one-on-one chats.

5. Instagram: Facebook, the parent company of Instagram, has also announced intentions to implement end-to-end encryption for Instagram's direct messaging feature. This move aims to enhance user privacy and protect sensitive conversations from unauthorized access.

6. Skype: Microsoft's Skype offers end-to-end encryption for peer-to-peer calls and file transfers. However, it's essential to note that group calls and chats on Skype do not currently use end-to-end encryption.

It's worth mentioning that while these platforms offer end-to-end encryption for specific features or communications, users should still exercise caution and be mindful of their privacy settings and the security of their devices. Additionally, the availability and implementation of end-to-end encryption may vary depending on the platform's policies and updates.
